What is "Alpha State"?

  • "Alpha brainwaves are dominant during quietly flowing thoughts, and in some meditative states. Alpha is 'the power of now', being here, in the present. Alpha waves aid overall mental coordination, calmness, alertness, mind/body integration and learning."


It's our opinion that being in an Alpha State of mind is  ideal for transformation and  success when learning new skills.


Our name reflects the state we are in when we are making change; on a cellular and spiritual level.

What diet is the most effective for weight loss?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss! 

The diet industry would like for you to believe that you are the same as everyone else who is trying to lose weight. In this way they can effectively reach millions of people and profit from your desire to change your appearance- all they have to do is sell everyone a blanket prescription.

The reality is that everyone is as metabolically unique as a fingerprint. What works for one person may be ineffective for you.

The best way to change your body composition is to take a simple and integrated approach that suits your lifestyle.


I'm afraid to work-out now that I'm pregnant; is it unsafe for me to exercise?

"One of the most important pillars for a healthy pregnancy and baby is movement/exercise." 


All women, including those who were not physically active prior to pregnancy will benefit from some kind of movement practice. The type, intensity and frequency of the movement will change from woman to woman.


Pregnancy does change the demands placed on the body and so this will affect how the woman responds to exercise but this shouldn't be perceived as a barrier to being active. It is actually the training opportunity of a lifetime! 


If you are concerned and unsure of where to start- find a pre/post natal specialist to guide you through your pregnancy. The right trainer will work alongside you and your support team (doctors, midwives, physiotherapists etc.) to find solutions that are safe for you and your baby. 


Exercise has so many amazing benefits and they are all experienced by your baby as well!

Think of the time typically spent training for a marathon that lasts 5 hours on average. (6-12 months of training)

Now consider the average time of labor for a first time mother (12-24, with 48 hours still being normal). 

How much time do we spend training for birth?


Pregnancy is a fantastic time to find a movement practice that feels good and aligns with you!
